Construction speed

Onshore - W. Texas

This project consisted of an 80,000 ft. 6" flow line constructed during a period of extremely dry conditions commonly seen in West Texas. With a complete Zap-Lok crew of just 6 workers, they were able to complete construction in only 6 1/2 days.

Offshore - Shallow-water GOM

During offshore construction Zap-Lok truly excels by utilizing its speed to drastically reduce expensive equipment rental costs. For this 28,518 ft. 3" flow line, a total Zap-Lok crew of five workers completed construction in less than 4 days.

Versatility in the field

Equipment options

Zap-Lok offers a variety of machine options that range from large hydraulic presses for long 12" pipelines to hand-operated machines weighing less than 200 pounds for small diameter flowlines.

Construction flexibility

Our system offers contractors the capability to quickly field bend and pull sections as needed - reducing the need for additional welded sections and elbows.

Extreme terrain

Our technology has been used extensively in the steep terrain of Colorado, Wyoming and Utah with great success. All Zap-Lok equipment is designed with hydraulic lifters which allow it to maneuver up and down steep terrain and around tight bends.

Weather tolerant

Zap-Lok excels in adverse environments. Due to the absence of fire and electrical hazards, our mechanical connections allow work to continue through conditions such as the fire-hazard bans seen in dry environments.
